There are lots of great, locally oriented dining options around the North Coast. We recommend starting your day at a Ramone's for coffee and sweets. Lunch at local favorites Rita's Cafe or Cafe Brio is always fun. Those interested in fancier dinners will enjoy Larrupin' Cafe or Moonstone Grill. And anyone wanting to do a little grocery shopping--or just seeing what Whole Foods dreams it could be--should stop by Wildberries Marketplace or the North Coast Co-op.
If you're in downtown Eureka you should stop by the Humboldt Bay Tourism Center, which serves fresh oysters and local craft beers. You should also try Los Bagels, a cool mashup of Mexican and Jewish cultures and food, which is a local institution with locations in Eureka and Arcata.
Speaking of craft beers, the North Coast is home to several breweries that are open for tastings and dining. Eel River Brewing Company is in Fortuna very near the wedding hotels. Eureka and Arcata feature Lost Coast Brewery and Redwood Curtain Brewing, respectively. Mad River Brewing in Blue Lake and Six Rivers Brewery in McKinleyville aren't too far away. Try one. Try them all. Just don't forget to come to the wedding.
